In order to maintain your registration as an intermediary or as an involved responsible person (effective leader or person in charge of distribution), you need to achieve 15 CPD points/hours per year. For ancillary insurance intermediaries, this involves 3 points/hours per year.
During the first 3 years following registration as an intermediary or appointment as the relevant responsible person, a minimum of 12 points/hours per year must be focused on the insurance products being distributed de facto.
Persons in contact with the public should achieve the same number of hours, under the responsibility of the employer. To this end, the employer must draw up an annually updated training plan.
