How many CPD hours must you achieve?

The CPD obligation in credit intermediation is expressed in CPD hours. In order to hold on to the registration as responsible person involved, you must follow three hours of CPD per credit intermediation activity per one-year period.

Persons who are in contact with the public must keep their professional knowledge up to date by following regular refresher training courses. The employer is responsible for preparing and implementing an annual and updated training plan.

Agents in an ancillary position for type 1 consumer credit do not have to follow any CPD.
