The masterclass is led by Dr. Ariane Chapelle, a renowned expert in operational risk management with over two decades of experience, including ten years as Associate Professor at University College London. She is the founder of Chapelle Consulting (now BDO Chapelle), awarded by Risk.net for outstanding achievement in operational risk. As an acclaimed author, her textbook Operational Risk Management was named "Book of the Year 2020" and she also contributed to GARP's FRM certification material.

 

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

  • Duration: 2 days of training (6 class hours per day)
  • Hours: 09:00 to 17:00

  • Lunch and several breaks are provided
  • All participants will receive a signed copy of Ariane Chapelle’s textbook “Operational Risk Management”
  • Language: This training will be given in English

Methodology

You follow a ‘Classroom training’ in a group. You, the other participants and the teacher are all present in the same classroom at an agreed time. There is an opportunity for interaction and feedback, both from the participants to the teacher and vice versa. The teaching material consists as a basis of a presentation via the MyFA learning platform, supplemented with various other items (such as digital syllabus, presentation, audiovisual fragments, etc.).
