General terms and conditions

Do you know our general terms and conditions? Learn about your safeguards regarding registration, cancellation, confidentiality and copyright.

Our general terms and conditions apply on the Febelfin Academy website www.febelfin-academy.be and the learning platform my.febelfin-academy.be

These general terms and conditions prevail over the general terms and conditions and/or other conditions of the client, even if they state that they are the only valid ones.
Deviations from these general terms and conditions are only possible with the express written consent of Febelfin Academy.

If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be unenforceable or in conflict with any legal provision, this shall not affect the enforceability and validity of the remaining provisions.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Belgium and fall under the sole jurisdiction of the courts of the Brussels district.

Registration procedure

By registering, you expressly agree with these general terms and conditions. The agreement between the parties is governed solely by the laws of Belgium and all registrations are made via the Febelfin Academy website: www.febelfin-academy.be and the learning platform: my.febelfin-academy.be

Febelfin Academy reserves the right to make changes to the syllabus, the trainers or the venue, if despite all efforts it is forced to do so; in this case we will not be liable for any compensation. Febelfin Academy will inform you immediately of any changes.

You can apply for registration via the interest list if the planned date is not suitable for you and/or if the session is full. As soon as 5 people are on the interest list, we will propose a new date. Your registration on the interest list is free and without obligation.

Terms of payment

The price of the course is shown on the web page (price not subject to VAT). The price includes all printing and documentation costs. After filling in the registration form, you will receive a copy of your registration request by e-mail. You can pay online or by bank transfer. After receiving your payment, we will send you an e-mail with confirmation of registration and your credentials for accessing our learning platform.

After making the payment, you will receive your invoice in PDF format by e-mail. Please indicate the acceptance giro on the transfer, as shown on the invoice. Invoices must be paid within 14 days of the invoice date. Any complaints should be sent within 8 calendar days by e-mail to accounting@febelfin-academy.be.

If payment is not made by the due date, we shall be entitled to charge interest on arrears without notice of default, calculated at the statutory interest rate from the due date.

It is your responsibility to submit your project application to the SME portfolio correctly and in a timely manner. You must also execute all the steps of the project correctly and without delay and make the payment to Febelfin Academy on time. Any application that does not meet the above criteria or the criteria established for the SME portfolio will be rejected by Febelfin Academy.

Please consult the terms and conditions of the SME portfolio for information on application acceptance conditions and payment deadlines. The deadlines established in the SME portfolio may in no case affect the deadlines for payments to Febelfin Academy.

Any failure to secure subsidies from the SME portfolio shall have no impact on the agreement between the client and Febelfin Academy.

Cancellation procedure

Cancellations can be accepted free of charge up to 5 calendar days before the date of the cancelled course. For cancellations after such date, the full registration fee will be payable. Cancellations must be made by letter or by e-mail to: accounting@febelfin-academy.be.
If documentation was made available as preparation or as part of the training, the full registration fee must be paid.

Febelfin Academy reserves the right to cancel the course in case of insufficient registrations or force majeure. In the event of cancellation due to insufficient registrations, the applicant/participant will be informed at least 5 calendar days before the start of the cancelled course.

In case of cancellation due to force majeure, the applicant/participant will be informed as soon as possible. In both cases, the applicant/participant cannot claim any compensation for damages. Where applicable, the invoice will be credited and the registration fee refunded.

Subscription

Cancellations for training courses chosen as part of a subscription are accepted up to 5 calendar days before the date of the course. If you cancel after this deadline, you will not be able to re-register for the same course. Cancellation requests must be made in writing or by email to accounting@febelfin-academy.be

Each subscription is tacitly renewed for a period of one year, unless one of the two parties gives notice of termination. If the notice of termination is issued by the customer, this should be done by letter or by email to accounting@febelfin-academy.be. This request must reach us at least 5 calendar days before the expiry date of the subscription.
