We limit the number of participants in this course to 30. Moreover you will be able to benefit optimally from the knowledge and experience of our lecturers. In addition, you will interactively test your own practical situation against those of your colleagues.

  • Session 1
    Lecture by speaker: Mrs. Caroline Veris - Partner FSI Governance, Regulation and Compliance at Deloitte
    • Regulatory update on sound governance rules with a focus on new requirements on internal governance, fit & proper and accountability
  • Session 2
    Lecture by speaker: Mr. Jan Cerfontaine - Guest professor at Ghent University (Financial Law Institute), lecturing and publishing on company law, corporate governance and financial regulations, and academic member of the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI)
    • Reflections and exchanges on the role of independant board members
  • Session 3
    Workshop by organisation : In The Pocket-  represented by Mr. Frederik De Bosschere - Specialist on Strategy, Business Design and Value Proposition Design.
    • Roadmap - The Board Game - Try to progress on the digital roadmap, by using your strengths to tackle challenges and seize opportunities.
  • Session 4
    Lecture by speaker: Mr. Tijs Besieux -  managing director of the Leuven Centre for Collaborative Management .  Professor (PhD) at the IÉSEG School of Management, KU Leuven and Schouten & Nelissen University.  Acts as a scientific consultant for several international organisations, with a particular focus on transformation processes in the financial sector.

    Lecture by speaker: Alexander De Waele - director of G&I Belgium and a consultant at G&I Finance. His specialism: sustainable organisational development in the field of ethics and integrity.  Compliance, Risk Culture and Ethics Expert at ING Belgium

Méthodologie

You follow a ‘Classroom training’ in a group. You, the other participants and the teacher are all present in the same classroom at an agreed time. There is an opportunity for interaction and feedback, both from the participants to the teacher and vice versa. The teaching material consists as a basis of a presentation via the MyFA learning platform, supplemented with various other items (such as digital syllabus, presentation, audiovisual fragments, etc.).
