Fraud Expert tool when paying online

We would like to inform you that when you pay online for your order, the 'Fraud Expert' solution is used to complement remote payment processing. Fraud Expert processes your personal data with the aim of preventing and combating fraud (determination of the risk level of a transaction, detection and management of any alerts due to the risk level, information to business owners so that they can make a decision, 'human' verification of transactions with a certain risk level, standardisation of scoring).

Ingenico e-Commerce Solutions BVBA is the controller of the processing of your personal data in the Fraud Expert solution. The Fraud Expert solution requires the collection of some personal data. Without such data, your transaction may be delayed or not carried out and your order may be cancelled.

The data are intended for i) the responsible departments of the Ingenico eCommerce Solutions entities involved in the current processing of your personal data, and for ii) the entrepreneur and for iii) any third parties whose intervention is necessary for the smooth execution of the payment process and the functioning of the services offered."

In the event of a fraud, data relating to you may be included in a file in which traces of fraud are kept and which is used by Ingenico in particular to supplement the risk assessment criteria and scoring models used. Inclusion in this file may also result in a higher risk being assigned to you on a subsequent order with a merchant operating in the same sector who has chosen the Fraud Expert solution and may result in the order being refused by the merchant. At Solution Fraud Expert, you have the right to ask questions about the processing of your personal data and the right to access and rectify your data, as well as the right to object on a legitimate basis to the processing of your data by Solution Fraud Expert.
